Data backup & recovery headache set to get worse?

A survey conducted last year for its annual Data Protection Report by software supplier, Veeam, focused upon the challenges facing small and medium sized businesses undertaking the task of data protection in a virtual environment. You can read the full report but in a nutshell it found that 80% or more of the 500 SMBs questioned were experiencing difficulties regarding the cost, capability and complexity of their data protection solutions. Whilst most respondents are keen to resolve these issues, almost two-thirds believe that specialist e-discovery tools are prohibitively expensive. 68% of CIOs feel that their backup and recovery tools will become less effective as the amount of data and servers in their organization grow. Most commercial products are geared towards large organisations and are not only pricey, but are also complex to operate and maintain.data-backup

However, failure to recover quickly from crises, both large and small, can be enormously costly even if measured purely in terms of business lost during downtime. The implications of failure to locate files related to, say, a legal challenge can be catastrophic. Of course, disasters do not necessarily require a full retrieval of all data simultaneously but do necessitate a rapid and accurate retrieval of specific files. A Rockstar data storage solution offers you totally secure on site protection with the option of off-site virtual back up. It has a superior file management system, allowing efficient data retrieval; is simple to operate and costs almost half as much as comparable alternatives. Furthermore, it is easily scalable as your business and data volume grow, protecting your company and its clients into the future.
